First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study looks at why some children have poor recovery after a severe head injury. The researchers are using special monitors to track oxygen and chemical changes in the brain, which are not routinely used in children. By collecting this information from 50 children aged 3 to 16, they hope to find better ways to protect the brain and improve outcomes.
