First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at adults hospitalized with a severe flare of ulcerative colitis that didn't get better with IV steroids. It compares taking two drugs together (infliximab and tofacitinib) versus taking just one of them. The goal is to see if the combo leads to faster symptom relief and gut healing over 10 weeks.
