Sarcoma surgery under the microscope: how do bowel reconstructions affect patients?

Summary
This study looks at different surgical methods used to remove retroperitoneal sarcomas when part of the colon or rectum must also be removed. Researchers will track complications and how patients' quality of life changes after surgery. The goal is to help surgeons make better decisions during these complex operations. About 120 adults who need this surgery will take part.
