Researchers seek to measure surgical risks in colon cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06152276
Summary
This study aims to create a clear definition of major complications that can occur after standard surgery for colorectal cancer. Researchers will observe 132 adult patients who are scheduled for this specific cancer surgery with a temporary ileostomy. The goal is to establish a single safety measurement that can be used to compare how safe this standard surgery is against newer treatment options in the future.
