Researchers track surgery complications to set new safety standard

NCT ID NCT06152276

Summary

This study aims to better understand the safety of standard colorectal cancer surgery by tracking how often major complications occur. Researchers will follow 132 adult patients who are having surgery that requires a temporary ileostomy bag. The data collected will help create a clear safety benchmark that can be used to compare future treatments against current standard care.
