Doctors question need for chemo after successful Pre-Surgery cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT03748485

Summary

This study aims to find out if chemotherapy is necessary for some patients with locally advanced colorectal cancer who have already responded well to pre-surgery treatments. Researchers will compare outcomes between patients who receive standard follow-up chemotherapy and those who are simply monitored without it. The goal is to see if avoiding unnecessary chemotherapy can maintain good survival rates while reducing side effects for these patients.
