Summary

This study aims to describe the immune cells and bacteria in colorectal tissue from people with benign or early-stage malignant growths. Researchers will analyze tissue samples from 400 patients undergoing surgery. The goal is to better understand how the local environment changes from normal to diseased tissue, which may guide future treatments.
