Targeted drug cocktail tested to shrink tumors before colon cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT05510895
Summary
This study tested a combination of three targeted drugs given before surgery for patients with a specific type of localized colon cancer that has a BRAF V600E mutation. The goal was to see if the drugs could shrink the tumor to make surgery more effective. After surgery, many patients received more of the same drug treatment to try to prevent the cancer from coming back.
