Summary
This study tested whether applying cold to sore joints can reduce pain and improve daily life in people with rheumatoid arthritis. Researchers enrolled 90 adults who had RA for at least 6 months and were experiencing pain. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost, non-drug method could be a helpful addition to standard care.
