First seen Jun 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking cold showers regularly can improve how people cope with stress. About 120 healthy adults will either take warm showers with a cold burst at the end or just warm showers. Some will be told the showers are helpful, others won't get that information. Researchers will measure stress levels, heart rate, and well-being before and after four weeks.
