NCT ID NCT07475975

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special pillow that combines cold therapy and arm support can help children aged 7 to 12 feel less anxious and more comfortable after surgery for a broken arm. Half of the 80 children will use the new pillow, while the other half will get standard care with separate ice packs and regular pillows. The researchers will measure anxiety and comfort levels at several points before and after surgery.
