First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special pillow that combines cold therapy and arm support can help children aged 7 to 12 feel less anxious and more comfortable after surgery for a broken arm. About 80 kids will either use this new pillow or get standard care with ice packs and regular pillows. Their anxiety and comfort levels will be checked before and after surgery to see if the pillow makes a difference.
