Cool cap trial aims to save Kids' hair during chemo

Summary

This study tests a special cooling cap (Paxman scalp cooling device) to see if it can safely prevent hair loss in children and young adults receiving chemotherapy for non-cancerous conditions or solid tumors. About 40 participants will wear the cap during treatment. The goal is to find out if the cap is safe and tolerable enough for kids to use regularly.
