Summary

This study tests whether colchicine, an anti-inflammatory drug, can improve how well the body responds to insulin in people with type 1 diabetes who have low-grade inflammation. Researchers will measure insulin sensitivity using a special test. The trial involves 26 adults and compares colchicine to a placebo.
