Summary
This study looked at whether colchicine, an anti-inflammatory drug, changes how the brain values effort and reward when choosing food. 59 overweight or obese women with mild inflammation took either colchicine or a placebo. Researchers used brain scans and behavior tests to see if reducing inflammation affects food decisions.
