Brain tumor survivors get a mental boost: new rehab study aims to sharpen memory and focus

NCT ID NCT03948490

First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether special brain exercises can help adults with low-grade glioma improve memory, attention, and thinking skills that are often damaged by surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy. About 97 participants will try one of three rehab methods: in-person sessions, a computer program, or text-message exercises. The goal is to see if these treatments are practical and can make a real difference in daily life.
