Brain training after ICU: hope for dementia-like fog?

Summary
This study tests if a computer-based brain training program can help people who survived a stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) recover their thinking and memory skills. Many ICU survivors experience long-term cognitive problems similar to dementia. The study will involve 160 adults who recently left the ICU. Participants will use a computerized cognitive rehabilitation program to see if it improves their ability to handle everyday tasks like managing money and medicines.
