First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether bladder tumor surgery and general anesthesia cause short-term memory or thinking problems in adults. Researchers will test 42 patients before and after surgery using simple thinking quizzes and blood tests for brain injury markers. The goal is to better understand who might be at risk for cognitive decline after this common procedure.
