Summary
This study tested whether taking coenzyme Q10 supplements can improve health in children with lupus, an autoimmune disease. Sixty kids aged 6-16 with moderate to severe lupus took either CoQ10 plus standard care or standard care alone for 3 months. Researchers measured changes in disease activity and cell energy problems to see if the supplement helps.
