First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether cochlear implants help older adults with hearing loss become more social and think better. About 40 people aged 60 and older will wear an audio sensor for two weeks and complete questionnaires. Some may also have their brainwaves recorded. The goal is to understand how hearing affects social interaction and cognitive function.
