New hope for kids with One-Sided deafness: can an implant restore 3D hearing?
NCT ID NCT06930170
Summary
This study is testing if a cochlear implant can help children who are deaf or have very poor hearing in one ear. It will compare the implant to standard hearing aids to see if it improves the child's ability to understand speech in noisy places and figure out where sounds are coming from. The goal is to see if this device offers better hearing and quality of life for these kids.
