NCT ID NCT05805384

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new noise reduction algorithm designed to help cochlear implant users understand speech better in noisy environments. About 60 people aged 12 and older who use a cochlear implant will listen to sentences in quiet and noisy settings, with and without the algorithm, to see if it improves word recognition. The goal is to find out if this technology makes listening easier and more comfortable.
