Summary
This study tested two different surgical methods to open a narrowed windpipe (subglottic or upper tracheal stenosis) in 30 patients. One method uses a special device to widen the airway, while the other removes scar tissue and places a small graft from the inside of the cheek. The goal was to see which approach better improves breathing and airway size.
