Doctors use eye scans to monitor brain pressure during surgery

NCT ID NCT07262125

Summary

This study aims to understand how the gas pressure used during 'keyhole' kidney surgery affects pressure inside the skull. Researchers will use a simple ultrasound scan of the eye to measure brain pressure in 100 patients undergoing this type of surgery. The goal is to gather safety information, not to test a new treatment.
