Doctors use eye scan to monitor brain pressure in surgery
NCT ID NCT07262125
Summary
This study aims to understand how the gas pressure used during minimally invasive kidney surgery might affect pressure inside the skull. Researchers will use a simple ultrasound scan on the eye to measure this pressure in 100 patients having the surgery. The goal is to gather safety information, not to test a new treatment.
