First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at 290 adults who have had a stem cell transplant and are taking letermovir to prevent CMV infection. Researchers want to see if measuring CMV-RNA and TTV-DNA in the blood can give a more accurate picture of active virus than the standard CMV-DNA test. The goal is to improve how doctors decide when to start or stop anti-CMV treatment.
