New drug tested to help control alcohol cravings

Summary

This early-stage study aims to find a safe and tolerable dose of an investigational drug called CMND-100. It will test the drug first in healthy volunteers and then in people with moderate to severe alcohol use disorder. The study will also gather preliminary information on whether the drug can help reduce alcohol cravings and drinking patterns.
