Summary
This pilot study tested whether rimegepant, a medication already used for migraines, could help prevent cluster headaches. Twenty adults with recurrent cluster headaches took the drug and researchers tracked how many attacks they had each week and how severe the pain was. The goal was to see if rimegepant could reduce the frequency and intensity of these debilitating headaches.
