New study uses advanced scans to map brain inflammation over time

Summary

This study is for people with neuroinflammatory diseases like multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). Researchers will use advanced MRI and PET scans to track changes in the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerve over one year. The goal is to better understand how these diseases progress, not to test a new treatment. About 1,000 participants will be enrolled.
