First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a closed-loop spinal cord stimulator can reduce pain and improve quality of life in people with nerve damage from chemotherapy. About 20 adults with persistent pain in their arms or legs will receive the device, which automatically adjusts stimulation based on nerve responses. Researchers will track pain levels and daily functioning for up to a year after implantation.
