Robot pancreas trial aims to tame tough diabetes
NCT ID NCT05562492
Summary
This study is testing if an automated 'closed-loop' insulin system works better than standard insulin therapy for people with diabetes caused by cystic fibrosis. About 128 young people and adults will use either the automated system or their usual insulin methods for 26 weeks. The main goal is to see which approach keeps blood sugar in a healthy range more consistently.
