Can a common cholesterol drug cut stroke risk in half?

Summary
This study looks at 600 adults who had their first small vessel stroke. They all get clopidogrel and aspirin, and half also get either atorvastatin or rosuvastatin within 24 hours. The goal is to see if adding a statin lowers the chance of having another stroke within three months. Participants are followed with clinic visits and brain scans if needed.
