New combo aims to outperform standard CLL treatment in older patients

Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether adding sonrotoclax to zanubrutinib for a fixed time works better than taking zanubrutinib alone long-term in older adults with untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. About 466 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. The main goal is to see how long people live without their cancer getting worse.
