New program aims to boost clinical trial knowledge among minority cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a program that helps racial and ethnic minority cancer patients learn about clinical trials and make informed choices. About 240 adults with cancer will receive educational support from a patient navigator. The goal is to see if this improves their understanding and attitudes toward clinical trials.
