NCT ID NCT07411066

First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study will test whether Clinical Pilates, a gentle exercise program focusing on breathing and core strength, can improve physical function and quality of life in people with interstitial lung disease (ILD). About 58 adults with stable ILD will be randomly assigned to either a supervised Pilates program or standard care. Researchers will measure walking distance, shortness of breath, and emotional well-being to see if Pilates offers added benefits.
