New drug aims to stabilize blood pressure quickly after bleeding stroke

Summary
This study tests whether a drug called clevidipine can lower blood pressure quickly and keep it stable in people having a bleeding stroke. About 1,000 adults with high blood pressure and stroke symptoms will receive either clevidipine or another IV blood pressure medicine. The goal is to see which drug reaches the target blood pressure range faster and keeps it there.
