Scientists check how teeth aligners hold up after two weeks of wear
NCT ID NCT07449598
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how clear aligners (like Invisalign) change after being heated and shaped, and after two weeks of wear in the mouth. Researchers will compare single-layer and multi-layer aligners by measuring surface roughness, hardness, and thickness. Twenty people with mild crowding will wear the aligners, and the materials will be tested before shaping, after shaping, and after use.
