Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) develop muscle loss (sarcopenia) and how this affects their health. Researchers will follow 1000 adults with CKD to identify risk factors and see if muscle loss leads to worse outcomes like disease progression or death.
