Summary

This study followed more than 3,000 adults with moderate to advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) for up to 5 years. Researchers collected health data and blood/urine samples to identify factors that lead to kidney failure, heart problems, and other complications. The goal was to improve how doctors manage CKD and delay the need for dialysis or transplant.
