First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether taking citrulline malate (a supplement) along with a regular exercise program could improve physical function, blood markers, and quality of life in active women aged 60-75. Twenty women completed the 12-week program, with tests for strength, balance, and blood health before and after. The goal was to see if the supplement gives an extra boost beyond exercise alone.
