First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This small study looked at whether citicoline, a supplement that supports nerve health, could improve vision in people with glaucoma after they had surgery to lower eye pressure. Six adults with open-angle glaucoma who needed surgery were given either citicoline or a placebo. The main goal was to see if citicoline could help preserve or improve their visual field, which is often damaged by glaucoma.
