New coil device aims to seal brain aneurysms without surgery

Summary
This study tests a new coil device (Citadel) used with standard coils to treat wide-neck brain aneurysms that have not burst. About 150 adults aged 18 to 80 with a single aneurysm between 6-12 mm will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the device safely blocks the aneurysm from blood flow and prevents stroke or need for retreatment within 12 months.
