First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special virtual reality (VR) headset for 10 minutes twice a day can reduce binge eating in 40 adults with binge eating disorder. The headset uses circadian reset technology to improve sleep quality, which may help control appetite. Participants are randomly assigned to use either the active or a control software for one month. The goal is to see if better sleep leads to fewer binge episodes.
