Summary

This early-phase study tested whether adding the antibiotic ciprofloxacin to standard chemotherapy could help control metastatic pancreatic cancer. Ten adults with untreated, advanced pancreatic cancer took part. The goal was to see if the combination improved tumor response, but this is a small pilot study, not a cure.
