Drug trial aims to speed recovery from dangerous brain bleeds
NCT ID NCT06504576
Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called cilostazol can help the body clear a blood clot faster after a type of stroke called a brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage). Researchers will enroll 100 patients and give half of them cilostazol for two weeks along with standard care, while the other half receives standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the drug safely reduces the size of the brain clot and improves patients' recovery over three months.
