Summary

This study tested the safety of a drug called cilengitide when given together with radiation therapy to children and young adults with a rare and aggressive brain tumor called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). The goal was to find the highest safe dose. 32 participants were enrolled. The study was completed and focused on side effects and how the drug moves through the body.
