TIMING IS EVERYTHING: NEW STUDY TESTS CLOCK-BASED DIET AFTER WEIGHT-LOSS SURGERY
NCT ID NCT07324044
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a new approach called chrono-nutrition, which means eating meals at times that match your body's natural daily rhythms. Researchers want to see if this helps people who have already had weight-loss surgery keep the weight off and improve their health. About 246 adults who had sleeve gastrectomy at least six months ago will either get standard dietary advice or a personalized meal-timing plan based on whether they are a morning or evening person. The study will track weight, blood sugar, gut bacteria, and sleep patterns over time.
