Summary
This study looks at how chronic pain changes the brain's reward system, which can make it harder to feel motivated or learn from rewards. Researchers will compare 50 people with chronic pain to healthy volunteers using brain scans and a learning task. The goal is to better understand the link between pain and motivation, not to test a treatment.
