Summary

This study is comparing two cholesterol-lowering drug combinations to see how well they work and how safe they are over one year. It involves 88 adults with high cholesterol and elevated triglycerides, many of whom also have metabolic syndrome or type 2 diabetes. Participants will take either pitavastatin alone or pitavastatin combined with ezetimibe, and researchers will track their cholesterol levels and liver health.
