Summary

This study aims to see if providing targeted water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) support to households of diarrhea patients can reduce the spread of cholera in high-risk areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. About 2,900 people will take part, including those who have had severe diarrhea and their family members. The approach focuses on improving handwashing and clean water use to prevent future illness.
